CD14 and rheumatoid arthritis: Assessing the distribution of monocyte subsets in DMARDs-naïve patients with RA of short duration, we revealed higher percentage and number of intermediate (CD14++CD16+) monocytes and number of classical (CD14++CD16−) peripheral blood monocytes and decreased percentage of nonclassical (CD14+CD16++) monocytes in comparison to the control group.
