NT5E and acute lymphoblastic leukemia: Serra et al. assessed the clinical implication of CD73 in chronic lymphoblastic leukemia (CLL, n = 299) and found that high expression of CD73 was associated with a more aggressive clinical behavior [22], whereas another study showed that CD73 expression had no prognostic value in children (1–18 years old) with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL, n = 338) [23].
