It was reported that overexpression of Pim-1 is associated with the development and progression of multiple hematopoietic malignancies such as B-cell lymphomas, erythroleukemias, and acute myelogenous leukemia, T-cell lymphomas, and non-hematological malignancies including, oral squamous cell carcinoma, and prostate cancer [24].
