In this respect, our results point to therapeutic options in MCAD (in addition to antihistamines and mast cell stabilizing drugs), such as the use of anti-LT drugs (i.e. 5-lipoxygenase inhibitors or LT-receptor antagonists) in patients demonstrating high basal and/or triggered pLT levels.
