SLU7 and cancer: Also in comparison with all gene sets included in the Molecular Signatures Database v3.1 (MSigDB; annotated with Gene Ontology terms; n = 1,454 gene sets), as well as with the full genome (n = 17,881 genes), the splicing factor gene set (and other splicing-related gene sets included in MSigDB) had high amounts of genes with expression levels significantly correlated with TIN-estimates in the same seven cancer datasets (Additional file 1: Figure S9).
