The aim of the present work was to evaluate and compare the therapeutic capacity of two L. lactis strains, the invasive L. lactis MG1363 FnBPA + strain and the wt L. lactis MG1363, both carrying the pValac:il-10 plasmid, for the prevention of experimental IBD in a DSS-induced mouse model. The gene discussed is IL10; the disease is inflammatory bowel disease.
