Table 1 shows the clinical features of these patients stratified by the SIRT3 expression patterns. We found that there was no significant correlation between the expression level of SIRT3 and patients' age (P = 0.415), gender (P = 0.052), and tumor size (P = 0.312); however, higher SIRT3 expression level was found to be significantly associated with tumor stages (P < 0.001) and lymph node metastasis (P < 0.001) but not transvascular metastasis (P < 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene SIRT3 and neoplasm.
