Higher GLI1 and GLI3 mRNA expressing tumors in advanced lung adenocarcinoma patients were correlated with significantly worse overall survival rates than lower expression groups (GLI1 mRNA: P = 0.0074, hazard ratio (HR) = 2.2 (95% confidence interval: 1.4-6.9); GLI3 mRNA: P = 0.0062, HR = 2.2 (1.4-6.6)). This evidence concerns the gene GLI3 and lung adenocarcinoma.
