In the current study, the expression of HPV16/18 DNA and p53 protein in invasive ductal carcinoma is significantly higher than those in breast fibroadenoma and normal breast tissue, indicating that HPV16/18 infection is close correlated to the occurrence of breast cancer, and p53 mutation may play an important role in the occurrence of breast cancer. The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is invasive ductal breast carcinoma.
