Significant overexpression of ABCC1 transcript in both pre-chemotherapy (n = 100) and post-chemotherapy (n = 68) tumors compared with adjacent non-neoplastic tissues from breast carcinoma patients and associations of intratumoral transcript levels with tumor grade and expression of estrogen receptor, proliferative marker Ki67, and p53 protein have been recently reported [13]. Here, ABCC1 is linked to breast carcinoma.
