We found that the proportion of CD44+CD24− Nestinhigh CSC (57.45 ± 18.27%) were significantly higher than that of CD44+CD24− Nestinlow CSC (42.55 ± 16.4) in the 12 specimens isolated from patients with triple-negative breast cancer (P <0.05, Figure 2A). The gene discussed is CD44; the disease is triple-negative breast carcinoma.
