Twelve major discriminators between low- and high-grade gliomas were identified: HCD2, HBA and HBD were up-regulated in high-grade gliomas, whereas expression levels of CRYAB_b, IPYR, TPIS, PEA15, PSD13, GFAP, IDH3A, 6PGL and PHP14 were found to be higher in low-grade than in high-grade tumors. This evidence concerns the gene PHPT1 and glioma.
