GPT and Thrombocytopenia: Comparing acute Q fever with CAP, acute Q fever had a significantly higher percentage of cases exhibiting fever, chills, headache, jaundice, relative bradycardia, thrombocytopenia, and elevated values of liver enzymes (GPT>44 U/L or GOT>38 U/L), but a lower percentage with sore throat, cough, diarrhea, abnormal chest x-ray, leukocytosis, anemia, and serum creatinine >2.0 mg/dl.
