Multivariate Cox logistic regression confirmed that the strongest factors that increased the risk of progression in non-squamous NSCLC patients treated with platinum and pemetrexed first-line therapy were poor performance status, weight loss, anemia and synchronous presence of 3R allele and G nucleotide in the second repeat of 3R allele in TS gene. This evidence concerns the gene TYMS and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
