Compared with the model group, the expression of PK2/PKR2 protein and mRNA in the colon and spinal cord of IBS model rats significantly decreased (P < 0.05, P < 0.01), indicating that mild moxibustion suppressed the abnormally increased expression of PK2/PKR2 protein and mRNA in the colon and spinal cord of IBS model rats. Here, PROK2 is linked to irritable bowel syndrome.
