While there was no difference between BCL11b-low and BCL11b-high within the overall GMALL cohort of T-ALL patients with respect to the response to induction therapy (Table 1), the overall survival probability of BCL11b-low patients was significantly lower compared to BCL11b-high patients (Q1: n = 40, 35% at 5 yrs; Q2-4: n = 129, 53% at 5 yrs; P = 0.02; Figure 4A). This evidence concerns the gene BCL11B and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
