To date, the only oral antiangiogenic therapy to have succeeded in a phase III trial in advanced CRC is regorafenib, a multikinase inhibitor of VEGFR 1–3, TIE2, PDGFR-β, FGFR-1, c-KIT, RET and B-RAF [24,35,36]. Here, RET is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
