ERBB2 and breast carcinoma: For example, new chemotherapies using agents such as nanoparticle albumin-bound paclitaxel (nab-PTX)[1,2], eribulin mesylate[3,4] and bevacizumab[5-7], new hormonal therapies such as fluvestrant injection[8,9] or new anti-HER2 therapies such as those using pertuzumab[10,11] and trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1)[12] have shown significant clinical benefits in metastatic recurrent breast cancer patients.
