Moreover, we found that CCR6 expression was markedly upregulated in all assayed clinical CRC samples but was only detectable at low levels in paratumor tissue (Figure 1A), and univariate analysis revealed a strong association between CCR6 staining intensity and tumor stages (n = 14, p = 0.0039; n = 104, p<0.0001; n = 57, p<0.0001; n = 16, p = 0.0005) (Figure 1B).
