Based on our results, it seems that the inflammatory status was worse after SG+DS than after DS alone, since the plasma levels of the proinflammatory cytokines IL-1a, IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, IL-6, IL-12, granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor and tumour necrosis factor alpha were higher in the SG+DS group than in the DS group. Here, IL1A is linked to Dravet syndrome.
