CNR1 and Parkinsonism: Different studies on the potential therapeutic usefulness of cannabinoid agonists and antagonists in PD have produced conflicting results; for example, it is not clear if cannabinoid antagonists could alleviate or not the typical Parkinson motor deficits (33, 45, 46), because some researches have demonstrated their failure, while others have shown that motor activity was improved with rimonabant (a CB1 inverse agonist) (47).
