GSEA showed that KCL-22M cells had reduced expression of genes upregulated by NUP98/HOXA9 (Figure 2D), a fusion gene that blocks differentiation and promotes CML transformation [23]–[25], consistent with our previous finding that KCL-22M cells have reduced soft agar colony formation and transformation capability than KCL-22 cells [11].
