It has been noted that allergic sensitization is more frequent in Graves' disease and allergic seasonality may explain the fluctuation in the onset of Graves' disease [3]; seasonal allergic rhinitis aggravates the clinical course of Graves' disease [4–6]; the serum levels of IgE are significantly elevated in one-third of patients with Graves' disease and lesser reduction in TRAb exists in patients with elevated IgE levels than in patients with normal IgE [7].
