Several HSP90 inhibitors, AUY922, IPI 504, and Ganetespib (Norvartis, Infinity, and Synta Pharmaceuticals, respectively) have shown some efficacy suppressing the growth of EML-ALK fusion expressing cell lines and in treating ALK-positive NSCLC patients in Phase II trials [151-155]. Here, ALK is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
