JMJD2C was identified as a gene frequently amplified in different types of cancer such as oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) [2], acute myeloid leukemia (AML) [22], primary mediastinal B cell lymphoma (PMBL), Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) [23] and breast cancer [3, 4]. Here, KDM4C is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
