In our previous studies, we found that ARNT interacted with c-Jun to form c-Jun/ARNT and c-Jun/ARNT/Sp1 complexes which promote expressions of cyclooxygenase (COX)-2, 12(S)-lipoxygenase, and p21WAF1/CIP1, in epidermal growth factor (EGF)-treated cervical cancer cells in a normoxic condition [1], [13]. This evidence concerns the gene ARNT and cervical carcinoma.
