LASP1 was initially identified from a cDNA library of breast cancer metastases and predominantly localizes at sites of actin assembly, such as focal contacts, lamellipodia and membrane ruffles [10, 11], where it interacts with a number of motility associated proteins such as zyxin, dynamin, lipoma preferred partner (LPP), actin, paladin and kelch related protein 1 (KRP1) [10]. Here, KLHL41 is linked to breast cancer.
