Homozygous FCGR3A-V/V158 individuals have since been found to have improved biological responses to anti-CD20 therapy in immune thrombocytopenia (64) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) (65); and anti-TNF-α therapy (Infliximab) to treat Crohn’s disease (66, 67); compared to carriers of one or two FCGR3A-F158 alleles. Here, FCGR3A is linked to Crohn disease.
