High sensitivity (99%, 83%; 81.6%, 84.7%) and specificity (95%, 75%; 87.5%, 87.5%) of both Notch-1 and Notch-3 in precancer and ISCC strongly supports their clinical utility as specific biomarkers for early detection of ISCC progression of cervical cancer. This evidence concerns the gene NOTCH1 and cervical carcinoma.
