To elucidate the role of SCP3 in tumorigenesis, we examined the role of these members as potential oncoproteins by conducting a series of in vitro and in vivo experiments using both a murine cell line (NIH3T3) and human cervical cancer cell lines (CUMC6, SiHa, CaSki, and HeLa). Here, SYCP3 is linked to cervical carcinoma.
