Notably, expression of SCP3 showed a positive linear correlation with that of pAKT both in CIN (Spearman's rho = 0.322, P<0.001) and cervical cancer (Spearman's rho = 0.221, P = 0.010) (Table 1, Figure S4).Taken together, these results suggest that SCP3 expression may be involved in the development of cervical cancer development and linked with the AKT signaling pathway.
