Notably, expression of SCP3 showed a positive linear correlation with that of pAKT both in CIN (Spearman's rho = 0.322, P<0.001) and cervical cancer (Spearman's rho = 0.221, P = 0.010) (Table 1, Figure S4).Taken together, these results suggest that SCP3 expression may be involved in the development of cervical cancer development and linked with the AKT signaling pathway. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and cervical cancer.
