Recently, novel therapeutic strategies including anti-VEGF agents (bevacizumab, aflibercept, regorafenib, and ramucirumab) have been introduced for metastatic renal cell carcinoma and for nonsquamous non-small-cell lung cancer, melanoma, glioblastoma, pancreatic cancer, and metastatic colorectal cancer [7, 19]. This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and melanoma.
