A 2001 study by Weng and Levy found no change in CD55 or CD59 levels measured by flow cytometry in patients with non-Hodgkin lymphoma following rituximab treatment [9], but this topic warrants further exploration, specifically in AIHA, by testing CD55 and CD59 levels on red blood cells by flow cytometry before and after rituximab treatment. This evidence concerns the gene CD55 and autoimmune hemolytic anemia.
