The mean age of onset and of remission of AD was significantly different between the 2 phenotypes: respectively 8 months vs 30 months (p = 0.0001) for onset, 61 months vs 119 months for remission (p = 0.0003).AD course was longer in children affected by non-IgE-associated AD: in particular, it persisted in more than 90% (14/15) of patients at 60 months of life and in about 67% (10/15) of patients at 120 months (10 years). This evidence concerns the gene IGHE and Alzheimer disease.
