We wanted to estimate the intrathecal production of sCD163 and investigate putative diagnostic qualities of sCD163 in a large cohort of patients with newly diagnosed remitting relapsing MS (RRMS), primary progressive MS (PPMS), secondary progressive MS (SPMS), clinically isolated syndrome (CIS), and compare with a symptomatic control (SC) group [19]. This evidence concerns the gene CD163 and in situ carcinoma.
