These included a methyltransferase (METTL7A) which is a type of transferase enzyme that transfers a methyl group from a donor to an acceptor, a scramblase (PLSCR4) which is a protein responsible for the translocation of phospholipids between the two monolayers of a lipid bilayer of a cell membrane [20], a member of the tubulin family (TUBB3) which plays a critical role in proper axon guidance and maintenance and is expressed in non-small cell lung cancer [21] and WDFY4, a protein with unknown function but is predominantly expressed in primary and secondary immune tissues [22]. This evidence concerns the gene TMT1A and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
