The incidence of fungal infections in the variant MBL2 group (3 Candida albicans, 1 Mucor, 1 Aspergillus) was statistically significantly higher than in the MBL2 wild-type group (1 Candida spp), RR = 11.5 (95% CI: 1.3-93.7, p = 0.016), as confirmed in a multivariate analysis (Table 4). Here, MBL2 is linked to fungal infectious disease.
