BCAS3 and breast carcinoma: Two palindrome candidates, 17q23.2 (Chr17: 56,691,822-56,700,625) and 20q13.2 (Chr20: 52,771,235-52,783,881), contained the BCAS3 and ZNF217 genes that was amplified and overexpressed in breast cancers and was often associated with chromosomal alterations affecting the locus [35–37].
