In contrast, GDM patients presented several genes that were induced compared to T2D, including immune response genes (CXCL10, CXCR4, CD46, CCL3L3, IL1B, IL1A, NFKBIZ, IL27, C1QA, CD83, C1QB, HIF1A, DEFA4, DEFA3, KIR2DL4, CXCL1, CCL3, TNF, CCR1, CXCL3, CXCL2, CCL4, CCL23, CCL20, IL6, CR2, IL8, IL1RN STAT3, CD55) and genes involved in the response to hormone stimulus (PTGS2, LDLR, PGF, PDGFA, PTGS1, NOS3, ADAM9, EGR2, SOCS2, SOCS3, RXRA, ADIPOR1, GAL, JUNB, C1QB, RETN, ADM, SORT1, CAV2, CAV1, TNF, GRB2, ERBB3, GNG11, BCL2L1, PIK3R1, IL6, IL1RN, STAT1, STAT3, CDKN1A, BMP7, IGFBP2). This evidence concerns the gene CXCR4 and type 2 diabetes mellitus.
