The levels of exogenous V5-tagged mutant p53 protein were determined using Western blot after selection, as shown in Figure 2E. The MTT assays demonstrated that the overexpression of mutp53 obviously decreased the sensitivity of HCC cells to arsenic trioxide and resulted in arsenic trioxide resistance compared with the vector control (Figure 2F).
