AURKA and glioblastoma: Moreover, AurA is overexpressed in glioblastomas (Loh et al., 2010; Lehman et al., 2012); its expression levels have been correlated with patient outcome (Barton et al., 2010); and data from other tumour sites suggest a role for AurA in CSC behaviour (Cammareri et al., 2010; Chefetz et al., 2011).
