Among the 40 putative driver genes were known driver genes, such as EGFR and ERBB2, as well as novel targets, such as DCUN1D1 and NSD3. KRAS, a prominent cancer driver with known activating mutation in cancer [12], was found to be amplified in a subset of ovarian, gastric, lung, and uterine cancers. This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and uterine cancer.
