We found deregulated Myc expression (MAX: Myc associated factor X, P = 0.0099, logFC = 1.77 in the cancer-control group and P = 0.0055, logFC = 2 in the treated-control group) and upregulation of proapoptotic transmembrane protein Bim in different isoforms (TMBIM4 (transmembrane BAX inhibitor motif containing 4), P = 0.019, logFC = 1.78, and TMBIM1, P = 0.024, logFC = 1.69 in the cancer-control group and TMBIM4, P = 0.078, logFC = 1.36 and TMBIM1, P = 0.038, logFC = 1.61 in the treated-control group). This evidence concerns the gene MYC and cancer.
