Studies have shown that several immunohistochemical (IHC) markers are highly expressed in CC including Annexin A1 (94.1%), CK19 (89%), MOC31 (88.2%), CK7 (83.4%), CD133 (79%), claudin4 (69.2%), high mobility group A1 (HMGA1) (31.5%) and S100P [3-6], while others has no or very low expression in CC such as glypican 3 (GPC3) (7%) and biglycan (7%) [3]. This evidence concerns the gene S100P and cholangiocarcinoma.
