FOXA1 as a prognostic marker in breast cancer has been extensively studied [14], [22], and high expression of FOXA1 is correlated with better disease specific survival, ERα positivity and the luminal subtype A. In prostate cancer high expression of FOXA1 predicts poor prognosis, and correlates with AR positivity [15]. This evidence concerns the gene ESR1 and prostate carcinoma.
