While IQGAP3 expression in normal tissues was restricted to the colon, small intestine and testis, high levels of IQGAP3 mRNA were observed in a number of tumors including lung cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, renal cancer, gastric cancer, bladder cancer, colon cancer and leukemia (data not shown). Here, IQGAP3 is linked to urinary bladder carcinoma.
