To examine whether the yolk-delivered fatty acid analog was incorporated into lipoproteins, we examined a zebrafish model of abetalipoproteinemia (Avraham-Davidi et al., 2012), a disease characterized by the lack of ApoB-containing lipoproteins (β-lipoproteins, such as CM, VLDL and LDL). Here, APOB is linked to abetalipoproteinemia.
