These data indicate that combination therapies of anti-IGF1R (and/or anti-INSRA) with standard chemotherapeutic agents may not only profit from the combined effect of the single therapies but also from the fact, that an anti-IGF1R (and/or anti-INSRA) therapy makes cancer cells more sensitive to chemotherapeutic/apoptotic agents.
