To estimate the impact of CapG expression on migration in ovarian tumor cell lines, the intrinsically low expressing cell line Hey was stably transfected with a retroviral expression vector (S11-CapG-IN), which resulted in 230-fold higher expression of CapG in Hey cells (confirmed at mRNA level by qRT-PCR and at protein level by Western Blot analysis). This evidence concerns the gene CAPG and ovarian neoplasm.
