The aim of this study is to investigate the possible roles of LCN2, an inflammatory adipocytokine; CLU, an enigmatic protein associated with inflammation; sTNFR-1 and IL-6, which are among the proinflammatory cytokines; homocysteine and UA in the pathogenesis of psoriasis, that is, an inflammatory skin disorder. This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and psoriasis.
