Additionally, we also analyzed the role of other MyD88-dependent TLRs and from our results we could exclude a likely role for TLR2, and TLR4 signaling pathway in resistance to L. guyanensis as these mice display similar footpad swelling profiles as wild-type mice following infection with either L.g.
